South Africa – A Country in Crisis
Tonight Emma will be interviewing me concerning the myriad of crises which are confronting South Africa at this time. As I have just returned from a Mission driving across South Africa, I was able to learn first-hand from school principals, teachers, pastors, missionaries, farmers, police and politicians, some of the disturbing and bewildering array of threats which many South Africans have to deal with on a daily basis. There are important developments we need to know about and some inspiring examples of resilience and resistance of many brave and bold Christian witnesses working in difficult and dangerous situations, shining the light of Christ, evangelising in their communities and making a positive difference.
“…what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?”

Responding to the Homosexual Crisis in South Africa
Recently the high court in Gauteng overruled a Dutch Reformed synod decision to ban homosexual marriage and openly homosexual ministers in the church. Should the government do this? How do we respond? What does the Bible say about sodomy?
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Back to the Bible for Reformation and Revival
Tonight we will be discussing recent developments and the Back to the Bible for Reformation and Revival vision and strategy.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Uganda for Christ
Tonight I will be interviewing our Missionary, Abrie, who has safely returned from a month-long Mission to Uganda. This strategic, central African country has come through the fires of the Ugandan holocaust under brutal dictator Idi Amin, which wiped out hundreds-of-thousands of Christians to become one of the fastest growing churches in the world today.

Thought Crimes, Thought Police and Threats to Freedom of Speech
We will be discussing the rise of all Orwellian Thought Police and the new “Hate Speech” bill which effectively makes thought crimes of Biblical teaching and freedom of conscience. Understanding the array of legislation being considered to interfere with freedom of thought, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and freedom of the press, we will explore how we as Christians should respond to these intrusive political campaigns to undermine our essential freedoms. In the face of this series of unworkable, unnecessary and unconstitutional bills that are being considered in the South African parliament, Christians need to urgently pray and act to resist these intrusions on religious freedom.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with the yolk of bondage.”

Back to the Bible Movement
By God's grace we have completed another important component of our Back to the Bible Reformation project launched over six years ago. The New Testament Survey is expected back from the printer this week. Our Old Testament Survey was published over two and a half years ago. The Audio MP3 of both the Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey are now available in audio format, with all the sermons preached summarising the key messages of each Book of the Bible.

Meltdown in Zimbabwe
With the current unrest, riots, police and military brutality, closed roads and blocked borders, Zimbabwe is in a terrifying nightmare. Sources tell us that citizens are attacking police and military out of frustration over oppression. Zimbabwean leadership has responded by beating citizens in the streets, burning down houses, and clamping down on communication. Some are calling this “civil war”. How did all this come about? Why are people so angry and why is the current government of Zimbabwe brutalizing its people? Join us this week as we unpack the complicated and disastrous situation in Zimbabwe and seek to provide a Biblical response.

Why Does God Not Stop All the Suffering?
Please tune in from 21:00 tonight, 22 January, for the latest From the Frontline radio podcast www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ as we respond to the common objection: Why Does God Not Stop All the Suffering? Oscar Wilde claimed that suffering proved that a good God does not govern the world. If God cannot stop the suffering, then He is not all-powerful. If God will not stop the suffering, then He cannot be good and loving. The faulty logic and wrong conclusion evidenced by Oscar Wilde is quite common. Many question God's goodness, power, or even existence, because of suffering in the world. Poverty, disease, war, natural and man-made disasters – why does God not bring it all to an end?
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

How Can a Good God Allow Evil?
Please tune in from 21:00 tonight, for the latest From the Frontline radio podcast www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ as we respond to the common objection: How Can a Good God Allow Evil? As we are in the middle of our intensive three-week Great Commission Course with daily outreaches and practicals, on the streets, in hospitals, we frequently encounter people who question the goodness of God in allowing evil. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do so many good things happen to bad people? How should we respond and what can we do to make sense out of suffering?
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28
