Understanding the World War of Worldviews Confronting Us Today
Please tune in tonight for the latest From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ from 21:00 tonight, Tuesday, 27 November. We will be discussing the world war of worldviews, which is raging particularly on university campuses today. Statistically, 75% of young people from Christian homes who enrol at university stop attending church within four years. If any army was to lose three quarters of its forces, it would not only be considered a defeat – but a disaster!
Universities have not always been the temples of secular humanism and cesspools of moral decadence that they have all too often become today. There was a time when universities were centres of Biblical Reformation and Revival. Many of the greatest Christian Reformers were university professors. This included: Professor John Wycliffe of Oxford; Jan Hus of the University of Prague; Martin Luther of the University of Wittenberg; John Calvin, the Founder of the Academy of Geneva and William Tyndale, the man who translated the Bible into English, was a Graduate of both Oxford and Cambridge. What can we do to reclaim our universities for Christ?
“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.”

Joyful, Prayerful and Thankful
Please tune in tonight for the latest From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ from 21:00 tonight, Tuesday, 20 November. We will be discussing Thanksgiving. In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17, we are commanded: “Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” Plainly it is God's will for us to be joyful, prayerful and thankful. There is no duty more urgent than that of returning thanks to our Creator, Saviour, Lord and Eternal Judge. A thankful heart is the parent of all virtues. Lack of gratitude is a root sin.
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His Name; make known His deeds among the peoples! …Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:8,34.

Please tune in tonight as we upload our latest From the Frontline podcast on www.FrontlineMissionSA.org, available on http://fromthefrontline.podbean.com/ from 21:00 tonight, Tuesday, 6 November. Emma will be interviewing me concerning the persecution being experienced by hundreds of millions of Christians worldwide. In 67 countries of the world governments severely restrict and persecute Christians for their Faith. 11 November is International Day of Prayer for he Persecuted. What can we do to practically support and help those who are being targeted for the Faith? What does the Bible say? What can we learn from History? What can we learn from the persecuted Church? How can we more effectively pray for justice?
"Remember the prisoners as if chained with them - those who are mistreated - since you yourselves are in the Body also."
