From the Frontline: Lessons Learned From 40 years in the Frontline
40 years ago we launched our first cross-border mission into a Restricted Access Area: Mozambique, which at that time was a war torn communist country where missionaries were prohibited. Since April 1982 Frontline Fellowship has conducted missions throughout Africa and Eastern Europe. What are some of the lessons learned during these last four decades in the Frontline?

From the Frontline: Behind Enemy Lines for Christ
40 years ago Frontline Fellowship launched its first series of cross border missions into restricted access areas. What led to this initiative? What were the obstacles that needed to be overcome? What were the challenges facing churches in communist countries such as Mozambique and Angola in the 1980s? How was Frontline Fellowship able to serve these persecuted churches? What about the combatants, the soldiers and guerrillas on the various sides of these conflicts? How could one proclaim the Gospel to one's enemies in the middle of a war? What kind of reactions did we encounter when confronting communists with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ? In Restricted Access Areas and war zones, there must be a lot that can go wrong. What kind of crisis situations did Frontline Fellowship have to confront in the field? What answers to prayer did our missionaries experience? How can missionary minded Christians of today evangelise in war zones? What lessons could they learn from the last 40 years of Frontline Fellowship’s ministry behind enemy lines?

From the Frontline: Evangelising in War Zones
As so many are focused on the war in Ukraine, how should we as missionary minded Christians respond? Bad times are good for spiritual work. War zones are also mission fields. Soldiers, on all sides of any conflict need the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Congregations, families and individuals should be focusing on Russia and Ukraine in intercession and considering how we can practically respond to the desperate needs with constructive Christian love in action. In this programme we discuss how God guided Frontline Fellowship to evangelise in war zones throughout Africa. “

As two of the largest nations in Europe are engaged in war, what are the Biblical principles that we need to consider? When is it right to fight? What constitutes a Just War? What steps could be taken to avert war? How should we as Christians respond when friends and neighbours are involved in conflict? What are our duties in time of war? What does God call us to do during such times of crisis and conflict? How can we pray effectively for those involved in conflict, such as in Ukraine and Russia at this time?

From the Frontline: Overcoming Obstacles and Opposition
Anyone who is serious about fulfilling the Great Commission will be confronted with obstacles and opposition. Why is that? What kind of obstacles confront a Christian who is committed to missions? How can one best respond and overcome these obstacles to missionary service? What kind of opposition can one expect when launching out into the mission field? How can one best prepare oneself to not only survive, but to thrive, in spite of conflict and controversy? The harvest is very large and the workers are far too few, how can we multiply our effectiveness ? The needs are so very urgent and the situation is desperate. What can we do? What must we do to fulfil the Great Commission?

Persecution of Christians is rising worldwide. Where are Christians being persecuted? How does this persecution manifest itself? Who are the persecutors? Why is persecution increasing so dramatically at this time? How many Christians are being persecuted for their Faith? What can we do to help those who are suffering for the Faith?
