Reformation or Revolution

Last Sunday marked the 230^th anniversary of the launch of the French Revolution. Many in France celebrated it as Bastille Day. This coming Thursday, 18 July, many will be celebrating Mandela Day, which has been declared an international event by the United Nations. How should we as Christians respond to these idolatrous attempts to create a secular religion? The most condemned sin in Scripture is idolatry. The middle verse of the Bible is:

“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

Psalm 118:8.
